What is an unlock iphone4?
Most of the iPhones that are purchased from AT&T may only be used on the AT&T network. If a iphone is unlocked, this means that it may be used on other networks and with all other carriers. AT&T must unlock your iphone in order for this to work. In certain rare instances, iphones can be “factory unlocked”. This means that they were designed with no restrictions on them. However, such iphones often are significantly more expensive.
Please Note: unlock iphone4 is not the same as cleaning out data and passwords from it.
Why should I unlock my iphone if I plan on selling it?
iphones that have been unlocked are more valuable, as they may be sold to customers from anywhere in the world. If we are able to sell the unlock iphone4 at a higher price, the offer you will receive will be higher.
Am I required to unlock my iphone before I send it to Cell4Sell?
No, you are not. If we receive your unlock iphone4 and it is locked, you will get the “base” price that is offered for locked iphones.
Is there a charge for having your iphone unlocked?
It is FREE to request to have your iphone unlocked by your carrier.
Is it safe/legal?
Yes, it is legal and safe. As long as you meet the criteria set by your carrier, it is fine to do. It does not affect your personal data or wireless account, only the network restrictions on your specific device.
Am I eligible?
In the majority of cases, former and current customers are eligible to unlock their iphones after the contract term is complete or the unlock iphone4 is paid in full. If you have made an upgrade recently, there may be a 14 day wait time. Find all of the requirements for AT&T here.

This request may be submitted online, and it will only take about five minutes for you to fill it out. It may be up to five days before AT&T responds, so it is ideal to start immediately.
