How can I prepare a device to be shipped to Cell4Sell?

A iphone should be prepared in the following ways before you send it to Cell4Sell:

• Unlock the iphone through the carrier
• Choose the appropriate type of offer, if you plan on unlocking it or it is already unlocked. more info
• Deactivate service

If there is cellular service on the iphone, make sure that you take the SIM card out or deactivate it by contacting your carrier and also pay your account balance. more info

• Turn off iphone Tracking (also called Samsung Reactivation Lock, Find My iphone, etc.) and remove the password
• This may restrict your iphone, keeping us from doing an inspection. If it is an Apple iphone, select “off” in the iCloud settings menu. If it is a used cell phone, check out the Security settings. more info

We recommend that you:

• Save your data
• Conduct a backup of your files and photos. Take out the SD card, as well.When we start the inspection process, We also remove personal data.  
• Send only your device - if you did not tell us you were sending them on the form, do not send them. We will not be able to pay for any other accessories or items.
• Charge the used cell phone before sending - if it has even just a partial charge, we will be able to process it quicker.
• If you plan to switch from Apple to a different used cell phone, be sure to deactivate iMessage so that you will receive messages to your new iphone.
• Select Settings, then go to Messages and switch the iMessage slider to the “off” position
