The Find My iPhone feature for the iPod touch, iPhone, and iPad helps you to find your device if it has been lost. There is an option to block activation on the used phones. For this reason, Cell4Sell does not offer the full trade-in value for any devices that have Find My iPhone enabled on them.
If you turn off the feature before you send it to us, the whole process will be easier.
Turning off Find My iPhone
  • Find the “Settings” icon on the home screen, and tap it
  • Tap the “iCloud” icon that is in the Settings menu
  • If it currently enabled, switch the slider to the OFF position
  • If requested to give a password, enter your iCloud password and then hit “Turn Off”
Please note:
  • If your device is not able to power on, please review the “How to deactivate ‘Find My iPhone’ after shipping to Cell4Sell”, and follow the instructions for a remote reset
  • If you have already done a reset, then the feature is off
Contact us if you have any inquiries about this process.
